I portrayed Mary pregnant to bring light to the “now…conceiving in your womb.” Notice in the foreground on the left a side cut-away close-up purple silhouette of Mary’s breast and pregnant womb. This “now” moment is conveyed by rays of grace from the Holy Spirit powering down from the upper right corner to bless Mother Mary’s womb with baby Jesus. The Archangel Gabriel is the messenger in the central background, who steps aside after his announcement.
