Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth
I worked closely with the Sisters to warm their new nursing home with art that speaks to them. After listening to their story, researching their large art collection, reviewing art by Sisters, visiting the building site and studying architectural drawings---I created a master art plan for their entire building project. Almost all of the art was created by their Sisters. It truly became their art for their home.
The first photo shows the master art plan for one of the three nursing home floors. Over 125 pieces of art expressing their story and mission were thoughtfully selected and placed.
