This was a groom’s gift to his bride. I was commissioned to create a painting of their wedding scripture, Hosea 2:19-20. I symbolized “forever” with two large circles that go way beyond the limits of this painting. The circles unite in “steadfast love.” As the circles come together they form the Christian fish symbol, conveying “you shall come to know the Lord.” White and a full spectrum of colors speak of the profound mystery of the covenant of love and becoming one.
